Linking up with Monday Listicles for the 10 things that make me go hmmm. And yes, this song will be running in an annoying loop in my head all day.
1. Will the check engine light in my car ever go off and stay off?
2. Why can't I ever go to sleep on a Sunday night?
3. Why do I insist on sitting in positions that I know will cause me pain?
4. Why does Murphy's Law always come true?
5. Why is nothing ever where I leave it or thought I left it?
6. Why do cats always try to trip you?
7. Why do people pass you only to slow way down once they've gone by?
8. Why is the slowest lane of traffic always the on I am in?
9. Why are spiders creepy?
10. Why is there no good way to get rid of an ear worm?
Very good list - why DO they always slow down after they pass??? I hate those guys. And if you figure out how to get rid of an ear worm please share, because I really, really need to know! Though another thing that makes me go hmmm is how that song can get stuck in my head when I don't even know the words. Unfair.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the words either, just the chorus. Unfortunately, that's all it takes.
DeleteI find that it's not sitting in positions that cause me pain, it's spending the nigh sleeping in those positions that causes issues the following morning.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's a problem too.
DeleteI liked the Murphy's Law line. Very smart.
ReplyDeleteI just wish it wasn't always true!
DeleteVisiting from "Listicles". I like your slowest lane of traffic observation, but for me it appears that I am always in the slowest check out line at the food store!
ReplyDeleteThat happens to me too. :(
DeleteHow are you in the slowest lane? I thought I was the only one despite the fact that I have a million morons in front of me. Wait, I'm sure YOU are behind me. ;) Ellen
ReplyDeleteYup, the annoyed chick in the barely running Subaru is me.
DeleteLOVED I am with Kathy. For me it used to be the bank. No matter how many queues I was in the slowest. And cats do trip, don't they?
ReplyDeleteWe have three cats and I swear they work together!
DeleteEwwwwww spiders!!! I am 100% bug-a-phobic (is that a word?!?!?) I always seem to "pick" the slow lane for anything too! :(
ReplyDeleteIf it's not a word it should be!
ReplyDeleteNot only do I pick the slowest lane of traffic but I am also forever choosing the slowest check out line. HOW does this happen?!
ReplyDeleteYep, why the speed up, pass ya, and slow down. Also, people who pull out in front of you, and then creep. If you're in that big of a hurry to have to pull right out in front of me, step on the gas. ugh! Great list!
